Songs of Gastarbeiter was compiled by AYKU (İmran Ayata and Bülent Kullukcu). The compilation includes songs by different artists from several generations of so-called guest workers. The project was released in 2013 on the Trikont music label. The songs tell of life in Germany, working conditions and interpersonal experiences. Many of the songs were no longer available on recordings before the compilation was released and were collected from various archives.
