Workshop with school classes

With the help of multimedia tools, the participants independently embark on a search for traces of the GDR and the present. You will meet different contemporary witnesses. They talk about their lives as students, contract workers and politically persecuted people – how and why they came to the GDR and what their lives were like there, what their wishes were and still are today. Through these stories and experiences, the participants will gain an insight into the lives of migrants in the GDR and after reunification.
