Guided tour of the “Open Process” exhibition

What does the NSU complex mean – and why has the process of coming to terms with it still not been completed? In our guided tour of the “Open Trial” exhibition, we will look together at the crimes of the NSU, their consequences and the unanswered questions that still occupy society and those affected today.

The tour invites visitors to consider the NSU complex not just as a closed history, but as a topic that extends to the present day. Together we will talk about why we are talking about the NSU complex – and not just the NSU -, the role played by institutional racism, the failure of the authorities and civil society investigations and why relatives and victims are still demanding answers and consequences today.

The focus is on the people: We get to know the names and biographies of the people murdered by the NSU and learn more about their life stories. Interactive stations, discussions and selected exhibits provide an approach that informs, sensitizes and encourages reflection.

The exhibition contains content on racist violence and terror, which can be incriminating.

A 45-minute tour of the exhibition is followed by a 15-minute exchange. There is room for questions and discussions.

Please register using the online form. We ask for at least 3 weeks’ notice for group bookings. This format can be easily combined with a Critical Walk or a workshop (for school classes). The number of participants is limited to 15.

A group is guided through the "open process" exhibition.
