Sarah Schulze, State Commissioner for Women’s and Gender Equality Policy in Saxony-Anhalt, comments:

“I find it impressive that those affected and their families are given the space they were often denied.”

Dr. Nora Krzywinski, one of the two managing directors of the Documentation Centre, thanks the visitors:

“We would like to thank the equal opportunities commissioners of the federal states and all representatives of the GFMK for their visit. Dealing with the NSU complex is not a closed chapter. It is a political task, today more than ever. The fact that equality politicians from all over Germany are visiting this location makes it clear that anti-discrimination in all its forms and protection against right-wing violence are an inseparable part of working for a just society.”
